First shipment of supplies to go out next week
Bonita Boarding Kennel and Pet Camp (BBK), Artichoke & Company and Baywater Boat Club, are just a few of the many local businesses helping with relief efforts from hurricane Dorian.
Bonita Boarding Kennel and Pet Camp is collecting pet supplies from now until the end of September at the facility located at 9240 Brookwood Ct. (In the Bernwood Business Park). The supplies needed are pet wipes, food, bowls snacks and pet toys.
Artichoke & Company, along with several sponsors is hosting a Bahamian wine dinner and live auction along with a DJ on Saturday, September 14th at their venue, located at 11920 Saradrienne Lane, from 6 p.m. to 9 p.m. The cost is $100 per person with 100% of the proceeds going directly to the relief efforts.
Baywater Boat Club is collecting supplies such as; chainsaws, generators, water, tents and tarps at their facility located at 5124 Bonita Beach Rd SW. The first barge of supplies will be shipped to the Bahamas next week.
